3 - What is the difference between latex and foam mattresses you mentioned?
Our latex mattresses have the following characteristics:
1. They are all made of either certified natural latex or pure 100% rubber (no fillers are present in the latex core).
2. They have a porous antibacterial and dust free core.
Cold Foam Mattresses comprise of a super high density polyurethane foam which is manufactured in a cold-process and without any heating or baking process. This material is velvet soft, and not brittle like traditional foams. It is flexible, long-lasting and super high-density and provides users with years of quality support. This type of mattress material has an open cell structure for coolness and breathability. Bedtek is currently the only company offering these mattresses in Australia.
Visco Mattresses mould to your body, improving blood circulation to both muscles and skin enabling your body to relax more fully.
PLEASE NOTE: All Bedtek mattresses have removeable and machine washable covers which prevent skin and body oils from penetrating the mattress. They are very effective in preventing allergies.

4 - I suffer from a lot of allergies. Are your mattresses suitable for me?
All our mattresses are certified as non allergenic because of their washable covers. All covers also have an internal antibacterial layer (generally a moisture-repellant membrane called Lyocel which is derived from wood). This protects the mattress core from moisture which stops the growth of allergens and parasites.
5 - 4. Aren't there a lot of chemicals in foam mattresses?
Our mattresses are Oeko Tex certified (see www.oeko-text.com). Oeko Tex has a voluntary n ecological testing and accreditation process for manufacturers who are committed to clean and healthy textiles and bedding. The process monitors harmful substances within consumer textiles. Our mattresses are tested here for Ph-value, formaldehyde content, the presence of pesticides and other harmful chemicals.
6 - 5. Which one is your best mattress?
In spite of the three materials used in our mattresses (Latex, Visco foam, Coldfoam), all mattresses have the following characteristics in common:
1. they are ergonomically zoned for support
2. They have removable washable covers.
As such, the choice of mattress is a very personal one, which will often depend on the personal experience or feeling of well-being that an individual has when on the mattress. We regard all 3 mattress materials as being equal in quality. Generally speaking, a higher volumetric weight (for example per kg density) is an indication of mattress quality. Coldfoam mattresses are generally in range of 60-65 kg per cubic meter. Traditional mattress foams lie around the 25-30kg range.

7 - 6. Can I use my existing mattress on your slats and frame?
Yes, however we recommend that you check the height of your existing mattress. Our mattresses generally range in height from 17cm to 22cm, and are made of a solid elastic material such as latex. If your mattress is elastic and not too thick, you will get a good result with our flexable posture slats. If your existing mattress is thicker or inflexible, we would recommend that you purchase our entry level slats (flexa plus/duo plus).
